LBDI – A Place at the Table Watch Party

LBDI – A Place at the Table Watch Party
Join us for a virtual watch party as we prepare for a week-long focus on food insecurity awareness. We will watch “A Place at the Table”, a documentary that sheds light on the national food insecurity crisis. The documentary highlights stories of low-income Americans who struggle to put healthy food on the table despite having employment. Following the documentary, we’ll host a Q&A discussion on the film and how JLKD engages with the community to combat food insecurity.
Interested in becoming a Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI) Advocate during November 9-13? Join us after the watch party to learn more about LBDI and how to be an advocate. Advocates will be provided a resource guide with statistics, sample posts, and additional information.
