Little Black Dress Initiative – Info Night

Little Black Dress Initiative – Info Night
What is the Little Black Dress Initiative?
The Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI) is a week long social media awareness and fundraising campaign. Through this initiative, JLKD members and the community come together to increase awareness of food insecurity and poverty in our area. LBDI advocates will wear the same black outfit for 5 consecutive days to illustrate the effects poverty can have on a person’s access to resources, confidence, and professional opportunities.
Interested in becoming a Little Black Dress Initiative (LBDI) Advocate? Join us for a happy hour to learn more about LBDI and how to be an advocate. Advocates will be provided a resource guide with statistics, sample posts, and additional information.
