“Thank you from Jubilee Village”

I want to thank you for spending time with our little kiddos last Thursday!  Our regular high school baby-sitter said that the kids seemed super comfortable with you, even though it was your first time with them.  I think children can tell when they’re with people who genuinely care for them, and it’s apparent that they felt safe and secure with you all.

I know how crazy busy life can be, yet you generously gave of your time to us, and I very much appreciate it.  I’m so delighted with our budding relationship, and I’m eager to see what it holds for all of us!  Thank you again,

“Feedback from Michelle de Muir from Jubilee Village after our meeting and donation of shape boards”

I truly enjoyed meeting you all this past Tuesday, and I was delighted that you held your JLKD meeting at Jubilee Village. We’re very excited about the Shapes Boards, and I know that our young moms will appreciate having something special to do with their kiddos!  It is such an honor that you all have chosen to bless us with  curtains for the apartments, which the girls will really appreciate!
Thank you, again, and I am looking forward to finding ways to connect in the future.

“Feedback from Marcela Jones from SmartSteps after our donation of bookcart and books”

Thank you so much for bringing the book cart to SmartSteps. The Cervante’s Family was very happy and appreciative of the gift. Here are a few pictures of the Graduation.
Thank you very much.

JLKD Provides Grand Prize for SmartSteps Graduation
As has been our tradition for several years now, JLKD provided a book cart and books for the family in SmartSteps with perfect attendance and reporting. The Cervante Family was this years winner!  They have three (3) children: 3, 4 and 10 and were VERY appreciative of the cart and books. As Marcela has let us know, many of their families do not have a place to keep their books and so they often create a special corner in their home for their books. The book cart can now be their special place for their books!

“Feedback from the children of Mooseheart City and School after our April 2016 Earth Day Event”

♦Thank you so much for everything you did for us.  We loved all the crafts and making the fruit pizza. We are so excited to watch our sunflowers grow and take care of them. ~Susquehanna Home, Mooseheart~

♦Thank you very much for coming to Mooseheart to celebrate Earth Day and do fun activities with the youth.  The boys in Allegheny Home really had a good time. The activities were a lot of fun.  They are anxiously waiting for their flowers to sprout and grow. The photos are hanging on the walls in the house. The boys love to show off the fun things they do. The cookies at snack were a great way to sneak something healthier into their growing bodies ~Allegheny Home, Mooseheart~

♦ Thank you for the generous gift of “Big Joe” chairs and pillows. The students are very excited to use them.  -Meg Miller, Mooseheart Librarian-

♦ Thank you so much for the wonderful event you put on for us.  We had so much fun spending time with you all and making all the awesome crafts. We love reading our new books! -Juniata Home, Mooseheart-
